Originally, it was an exempt and taller building that performed the functions of monitoring the coast in the face of possible piracy attacks. Due to the conversion into private housing and the fact that it has been swallowed up by the urban core, it has disfigured both its internal and external physiognomy, although the original tower can still be recognized.

The ground floor is minimally modified, it consists of a rectangular portal, on the right side there is an inscription on a ceramic plate that says: "ANTIGA TORRE DE DEFENSA DEL POBLE", what means ancient defense tower of the city.

The rest of the floors are not plastered and retain their internal composition of stones and pebbles. On the first floor there is a quadrangular window equipped with a monolithic lintel and sandstone jambs, while on the second floor we find a Gothic window with a canopial arch.
