Route through the historic center
We propose a route to learn about the most interesting heritage of the historic center of Lloret.
Pabordia Vella - Hostal Bella Dolores
The frames are of sandstone and granite, and the sills are moulded. The central window is larger than the others. On the lintel of this larger window is a high relief of a Marian theme with a symmetrical composition in the Classicist style. The Virgin (of the Rose) with the child, under a large crown is flanked by two angels, who carry her with a sheet and are much larger than the Virgin.
The Pabordia de Lloret was located on this plot of land until the end of the 16th century, when it moved to Casa Nova del Capítol or Casa Marlès. For this reason, and despite the fact that the documentation of the old barn goes back to the 14th century, the basic structure of the house and some remains of frames and lintels can be dated to the 16th century.
