Viladrau is known for the significant amount of rivers and streams that flow into numerous sources of high quality water, characterized by weak mineralization. Among the fountains, the Paitides, the Or, the Matagalls, the Capellans, the Oratori, the Llop and the Oak stand out.

Its urban center is made up of narrow and small streets where we find the square and the church of San Marti de Viladrau, documented since the end of the 11th century, since then it has been affected by different reforms among which have converted the old Romanesque portico in small chapels or side naves.
